Early Roger Rabbit test footage (the first four images), circa 1982, and some additional concept art and early model sheets. The film had a wobbly production phase, though it was considered a (technical) success. I loved it as a kid, but seeing it years later I found the title character almost unbearably annoying.

Betty Boop production drawings. Very neatly drawn, loose yet precise. The Hays Code unfortunately more or less knocked all life out of the character, but the animation remained supple, sweet and appealing.
